Abstract
The mainobjectiveofthissurveyistopresentdataontheper- ception oftheinfluence offacultysupportinitiativesonefficacy of job responsibilitiesusingsixprivateuniversityinNigeriaascase study.Thepopulationofthestudyincludedallfacultymembersof selected privateuniversitieswithatotalof1912facultymembers. A samplesizeof500wereselectedtoparticipateinthesurvey based ontheoutcomeofthesamplesizedeterminationformula suggestedbyFalolaetal.(2016) [5]. Thevalidityandreliabilityof the researchinstrumentwerecarriedout.Regressionanalysisand structural equationmodelingwereusedasstatisticaltoolofana- lysis.Itisbelievedthatwhenthedataisanalysed,itwillgive insight intohowfacultysupportinitiativesofvariousuniversities can help in enhancing the effectiveness of job responsibilities.
