Abstract
This articlecontainsthegroundandsatellitemeteorologicaldatasets ofclear-skytemperatureeventsfor five years(2012–2016)inCovenant University,Ota,OgunState,Nigeria.Thesatellitedatawereobtained fromAtmosphericInfraredSounder(AIRS)whilethegrounddata informationwereacquiredfromDavisweatherstationdatalogger- vantagepro2.Thesedatawereacquiredfrompropagationstudythat used samelocation(Lat:6.67°N andLong:3.23°E) forbothsatellite data andradiometerdirectedalongthesamepathbyproviding informationaboutthetemperature.Thedatasetswereassessedand evaluatedbymeansofadescriptivestatistics.Therewasperfect agreementbetweenthetwodata.Thepeaktemperatureeventsoccurs betweenthemonthsofNovemberandAprilforthe five yearsof observationforbothOtaandAIRSSatellite.Thedatafromthisarticle canbeusedforfurtherstudiesonnon-rainyattenuationeffectinthe study area
