Abstract

This studyfocusedonacomparativeanalysisofexposuretopol- lution inOtaandEwekoroTownshipwherewehaveconcentration of industriesthatemitspollutanttotheair.Thiswaswithaviewto proffer solutiontothenegativeeffectsofindustrialactivitieson residents withinindustriallocation.Thestudyinvolvedempirical observationandinterviewofresidents.About652questionnaires wereadministeredrandomlyontheresidents.Analysisinvolved descriptivestatisticaltoolsincludingchi-squaretechniques.The results suggestthatairpollutionwasmostfrequentlyreportedin EwekoroandOtaandthiscanhelpinthepredictionofstringent factor inwhichindustrialactivitiescouldposetosociety
