Abstract
HIV/AIDS is one of greatest natural challenges of in recent times. The pandemic is on a rapid global march. Some of the world's most populous countries are severely affected.Survey research design was adopted for this research. The sample for the study consists of 200 market women who had stalls in different locations of the market.Reading improves knowledge. The market women indicated their interest in acquiring knowledge for the prevention and management of HIV/AIDS, but most cannot understand the written medium of communication.
