Abstract
The rise in the number of working class women has necessitated the need for safe places where women can keep their children while they work. Nursery schools have been known to fill this gap. However, in a city like Owerri, nursery schools are few. It is against this backdrop that this project proposes the design of an ideal nursery school for Owerri. Located within the new administrative core of the city, the school is intended to cater for children of women who work in the administrative core
