Abstract

The relevanceoforganisationalcultureonjobsatisfactionand performance particularlywithinthehospitalitysectorcannotbe over-emphasized.Thecultureofanorganizationgoesalongway in distinguishingitfromotherorganizationsbecauseitshowsits ability toeitherbesuccessfulortofail.Tohoweverachieve excellenceandhigh-levelperformance,itisimportanttonotethat for effectiveandefficient operation,anorganizationwouldneeda formal approachofcommunicationaswellasformakingdecisions and completingthetaskstomatchtheneedsoftheorganization. The managerialimplicationsdrawnfromthestudyisthatorga- nizations shouldtakeadvantageoftheircultureandinculcate valuesthatwillenhanceperformance
