Thedatashowedthattheconcretereinforcedwith coconut fibre hadthehighestsoundabsorptivepower, ofwhich fibre treatedabsorbedmoresoundthanother fibres, thisis because washingof fibre increasethelignincontentwhichis responsible forthesoundabsorbingproperty.Thedataalso showedthatthecuringtimehadnoeffectontheabsorbing property oftheCFRC.Thedatapresentedwillbeusefulinthe construction ofsoundproofreinforcedconcreteslabs, wallsand other elements.
