Abstract
In this paper a numerical method of solving general second order initial value problems with step length k = 4 is developed. The approach is based on the collocation of the differmtial system and interpolation of the approximate solution. Some predictors for calculating the unknown in the corrector were also derived. The efficiency of this scheme was tested with some numerical examples.
