The datasetforthisarticlecontainsthemeasuredactivitycon- centration ofradionuclidesandgamma-radiationdoserate obtained fromtheradiometricsurveyinOta,Ado-OdoLocalGov- ernment Area,OgunState,Nigeria.Thedataweremanuallycol- lected in fifty(50)locationsusingtheSuperSPECRS-125spec- trometerforaboutthree(3)weeksinJanuary,2017.Thedescrip- tivestatisticalanalysisofthedatawereequallyexploredforpos- sible statisticalrelationships.The field datasetismadeavailable publicly forfurtherextendedanalysesthatcanprovideinsights into thesafetystatusofthestudyareafromradiologicalhealth concerns.
