Abstract

This articleisadescriptionofdatarelatedtotheresearcharticle entitled “Factorsinfluencing e-Procurementadoptioninthe Nigerian BuildingIndustry” (Ibem etal.,2016) [1]. Thedatawere derivedviaaquestionnairesurveyinvolving213participants comprising architects,quantitysurveyors,builders,construction/ project managers,andengineersworkinginconsultingandcon- tracting firms, privateclientorganisationsandgovernmentagen- cies. ThesurveywasconductedinNigeriabetweenJuneand November2015.Thedatasetcontainsresponsesonthelevelsof awarenessandextentofuseofthedifferente-Procurementtech- nologies, thebarrierstotheuptakeaswellasthefactorsinfluencing e-ProcurementadoptionbyorganizationsintheNigerian building industry.Thesurveydataandresultsoftheanalysisare made availableinthisarticleforfurtherusebyresearchers;andfor the purposeofimprovingunderstandingofthekey findings ofthe survey.
