Abstract
This paperpresentsinformationaboutthedataobtainedfromthe experimentalresearchshowingtheeffectofsunflowerbased biodiesel onrheologicalpropertiesofNigeriawaxycrudeoil.The information reportedinthedatasetdepicts0.1–0.7% dosingcon- centration ofsunflowerbasedbiodieselmightberequiredfor viscosity reductionofNigeriawaxycrudeoilatoperationaltem- peraturesrangingfrom10 °C (atlowtemperatureregion)to60 °C (at midtemperatureregion).Ithasalsodemonstratedthatbio- diesel derivedfromsunfloweristechnicallyviabletodecreasethe viscosity ofNigeriawaxycrudeoilappreciably,hencerevealingits potentialcapacitytoenhancing flow oftheoilinpipelineand wellboresystem
