Abstract
This studyfocusedontherelationshipbetweenjobdesignand behaviouraloutcomesofemployeesinAgriculturalResearch Training,Ibadan,OyoState,Nigeria.Thestudywasquantitative and theitemsinthequestionnairewereadaptedfromprevious studies. Atotalof227respondentsweresurveyedandstatistical regressionmodelswereusedtoexaminetherelationshipbetween the independentvariables(jobdesign)anddependentvariables (employeebehaviouraloutcomes).The findings showedthat14.4% of thevarianceinjobdesigndimensionscanexplainthevariance in employeebehaviouraloutcome.Themodelrevealedthattask identity,senseofautonomyandskillvarietyhadmorestatistical significance inpredictingemployeebehaviouraloutcome,record- ing thehighestbetavaluethanothervariablessuchastasksig- nificance andfeedbackmechanisms.Themodelindicatesthatthe strength ofregressionweightsofpathshasastrongdirection
