Abstract
In this research, the Burr X-Exponential distribution was defined and explored using the Burr X family of distributions. Its basic statistical properties were identified and the method of maximum likelihood was proposed in estimating the model parameters. The model was applied to three different real data sets to assess its flexibility over its baseline distribution
