Abstract
In thisdataarticle,monthlyrecords(datasets)oftotaldelivery, normal delivery,deliverythroughCaesareansectionandnumber of stillbirthsfrompregnantwomeninAkure,thecapitalcityof Ondo stateNigeria,foraperiodoftenyears,betweenJanuary2007 and December2016wereconsidered.Correlationalandtimeseries analyseswereconductedonthemonthlyrecordsoftotaldelivery, normal delivery(deliverythroughwomanvirginal),delivery through Caesareansection,andnumberofstillbirths,inorderto observe thepatternseachoftheseindicatorsfollowsandto recommend appropriatemodelforforecastingtheirfuturevalues. The datawereobtainedinrawformfromStateSpecialistHospital (SSH), Akure,Ondostate,Nigeria.Acleardescriptionandvariation in eachoftheseindicators(totaldelivery,normaldelivery,cae- sarean section,andstillbirths)wereconsideredseparatelyusing descriptivestatisticsandboxplots.Differentmodelswerealso proposed foreachoftheseindicatorsusingtimeseriesmodels.
